Getting here

Tollcross is within comfortable walking distance of much of central Edinburgh.

If you’re coming from Haymarket, Bruntsfield, Fountainbridge, The Meadows or the West End, walking is often the quickest and most pleasant way to arrive. The surrounding streets are full of cafés, restaurants and shops, so it’s easy to build the appointment into the rest of your day.

Tollcross is well served by Lothian Buses. The Gilmore Place stop is right outside the door, served by the number 10.

The Leven Street and Home Street stops are a short walk away, served by the 10, 11, 15, 15a, 16, 23, 27, 45 and X33, with connections from Princes Street, the West End, Haymarket, Bruntsfield, Morningside, Gorgie, Corstorphine, Slateford and Fountainbridge.

For live departure times and journey planning, we recommend using the Lothian Buses website or app.

If you’re arriving by tram, Haymarket is the nearest stop, and you can finish the journey by bus, taxi or on foot. Travelling by Train below has the walking time from Haymarket.

If you’re not sure of the best route, get in touch before your appointment and Pailin will be happy to help.

Haymarket Station is approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk from the clinic.

Alternatively, several bus services travel directly from Haymarket towards Tollcross if you prefer not to walk.

If you’re arriving at Edinburgh Waverley, frequent bus services reach Tollcross in around 15 minutes.

Pay-and-display bays sit directly outside Lochrin Buildings, with more a little further along towards Tollcross and Fountainbridge.

Charging hours and zones vary from street to street, and they do change, so always check the sign on the bay where you park. Payment is by RingGo or at the ticket machine.

Spaces can be busy at peak times and when there is something on at the King’s Theatre, so allow a little extra time to park without rushing.

Finding the Building

If it’s your first visit, look for the bright pink shopfront. It says 2U Beauty above the window, because Sabaidee shares the salon – but Sabaidee Thai Spa’s own name and logo are in the left-hand window, so you’ll know you’re in the right place. The entrance is the white door to the right of the window.

If you’re coming by bus, the Gilmore Place stop is right outside the door, served by the number 10 among others.

And if you’re unsure where to go once you’re here, don’t worry. Just message or call Pailin – WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS or phone – and she’ll guide you in.

Accessibility

Sabaidee is on street level with no steps to the entrance, reception or the treatment rooms. There is a toilet available. If you have any other access requirements, message Pailin before your appointment and she’ll be happy to talk them through.
