Frequently Asked Questions

If you are new to Sabaidee, you may have practical questions before you Book an Appointment. This page covers what happens when you visit, what to wear, how appointments work, prices, vouchers, travel and suitability.

For deeper guidance about massage styles, benefits, aftercare or choosing between treatments for a particular need, visit the Massage Advice Centre.

Before Your First Visit

Your first appointment starts with a short conversation with Pailin about how you feel, what you want from the massage and anything she should know before treatment begins. She will explain what to expect, answer practical questions and adapt the appointment around you. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly which treatment or pressure level you want.

For Traditional Thai Massage and the assisted-stretching parts of Sports Massage, you stay fully clothed, so wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in easily. For oil-based treatments, you will undress to your underwear. Pailin will explain exactly what is needed before the treatment begins and give you privacy to change so you always know what to expect.

It depends on the treatment. Oil-based treatments are carried out with you undressed to your underwear, with towels covering you throughout and only the area being worked on uncovered. Traditional Thai Massage and the assisted-stretching work in Sports Massage are performed fully clothed. Pailin explains what is needed before treatment begins and gives you privacy to change, so there are no surprises.

For many first-time clients, 60 minutes is a good starting point because it gives Pailin time to understand what you need and provide a complete treatment without feeling rushed. Selected treatments are also available for 30, 90 or 120 minutes. The available lengths vary by treatment, so check the full price and duration table before arranging your appointment.

Choosing A Treatment

You do not need to work this out before contacting Sabaidee. Tell Pailin how you feel and what you would like from the appointment, and she can help you choose from the six treatments she offers. For a fuller comparison of which massage may suit different needs, read the Massage Advice Centre rather than trying to diagnose the right option yourself.

No. Thai massage can include firm pressure, but it is not meant to be a test of how much pressure you can tolerate. Pailin adapts the pressure to the individual throughout the appointment, so if anything feels too strong or you would prefer a gentler approach, simply say so and she will adjust. Your treatment should feel appropriate for you.

Yes. You can speak up at any time during your massage. You can ask for more pressure, less pressure, a different area to be treated or a short break if you need one. Pailin wants you to feel comfortable and in control throughout the appointment, so you never need to put up with something that does not feel right for you.

Sometimes. A longer appointment may give Pailin scope to combine techniques or spend time on different areas, but the right approach depends on what you want from the session and the time available. If you have a particular combination in mind, contact Pailin before arranging the appointment and she can tell you what is practical without turning the session into a fixed package.

Not necessarily. Even returning clients may receive a different treatment because Pailin adapts each appointment to how you feel and what you need that day. She may change the pressure, focus on different areas or recommend a different treatment from your previous visit. That flexibility is deliberate: Sabaidee does not follow the same fixed spa routine every time you return.

Arranging An Appointment

Appointments are arranged personally with Pailin. Contact her by WhatsApp, text message, Facebook Messenger or telephone, tell her when you would ideally like to come and, if useful, what you are looking for. She will reply with what is available and can answer any practical questions before confirming the time. Use the contact page to get in touch.

Please give Pailin at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible so the appointment can be offered to another client. Genuine emergencies are always taken into account. Repeated missed appointments or cancellations without notice may mean future bookings are declined. If you are running late, let Pailin know as soon as possible, as treatment time may be reduced if another client is booked afterwards.

See the Booking & Cancellation Policy for the full terms.

Suitability

Pailin does not offer a dedicated Pregnancy Massage service. If you are pregnant, tell her before arranging an appointment so she can discuss your circumstances and advise whether an appropriate massage can be offered. If there is any uncertainty about whether massage is suitable for you, seek advice from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional before arranging a treatment.

Tell Pailin about any recent injury, persistent or unexplained pain, or other health concern before arranging an appointment. Massage is not a substitute for diagnosis, medical treatment or rehabilitation. If you need an injury assessed, have persistent or unexplained pain, or need a rehabilitation plan, a physiotherapist, GP or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional is the right place to start.

Tell Pailin about any medical condition that could affect whether massage is suitable or how an appointment should be adapted before you arrange your visit. If you are receiving medical care, have recently had treatment or are unsure whether massage is appropriate for your condition, ask your GP or relevant healthcare professional for advice first rather than relying on massage as medical care.
